Made using sea buckthorn seed oil, this delectable cream also contains organic olive oil infused with saffron, the most expensive spice by weight in the world. Saffron was reputed to be Cleopatra's secret to glowing skin, and sea buckthorn oil has been used internally and externally for centuries. For exquisite care of the skin, sea buckthorn oil is packed with omegas 3, 6 and 9, antioxidants, phytonutrients, nutrients, vitamins and minerals. It hydrates deeply, promotes collagen formation, repairs, regenerates, and heals the skin. It is a strong anti-inflammatory making it useful against both acne and rosacea, soothing and reducing redness. This saffron nutrient cream has a very earthy smell that I love. It is an acquired smell, but one that reminds me of nature and fall, and the baking of bread. It feels lovely on my face and neck. I haven’t used it for very long, so I can’t say how it reacts to sun spots, but in the short time that I have used it, I feel like that my skin looks and feels better. I just dot it on my skin and carefully rub it in.
