In the early 1990s our founder, Jody Berry, was an organic farmer at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Spending her days with her hands in the soil, surrounded by medicinal plants, she felt a profound connection to the earth.
And so began a journey of curiosity, creativity, and love — a journey that led to the birth of Wild Carrot Herbals in 2000. Named after the resilient and beautiful wild carrot flower, also known as Queen Anne’s Lace, our company reflects that same spirit: rooted in nature, blossoming with care, and thriving in harmony with the land.
We are proudly a woman-owned, mama-owned business. In fact, our founder lovingly calls Wild Carrot her "second child," after her daughter, Ginger, who has grown alongside the company. Every product we create is a reflection of the love and care we pour into our work.
Our Mission
Wild Carrot Herbals exists to connect people to the healing power of nature and to inspire thoughtful care for our bodies and our planet. We believe skincare should be as nourishing as the earth it comes from. That’s why we use whole plants and biodynamic practices to create products that your skin truly recognizes.
We are here for the sensitive, the mindful, and the curious. Whether you’re battling dry, cracked hands after a day in the garden or seeking gentle, nourishing care for your baby, our products are made for you. With kindness, intention, and the power of plants. We aren’t just making skincare. We’re creating something bigger: a celebration of love, resilience, and the wild beauty that surrounds us all.
