In the early 1990s, our founder, Jody Berry, was an organic farmer at The Evergreen State College, working the soil and learning plants by hand. That knowledge became Wild Carrot Herbals in 2000. Named for the wild carrot flower, also known as Queen Anne's Lace, a plant that grows wild and thrives right where it's planted. It's our talisman, its many tiny blooms a symbol of abundance, its presence a quiet mark of protection for the land it grows on.

Twenty-six years later, we're still making things the same way: whole plants, biodynamic practices, and nothing we wouldn't put on our own skin.

We're also still woman-owned and family-run. Jody calls the company her second child, right alongside her daughter, Ginger, who's grown up right along with it.
