The Grande Ronde River originates in the Blue Mountains of Oregon, close to Wild Carrot Herbals’ home. With part of it designated as a wild and scenic river, it supports a wealth of animal and fish life as well as tourism and agriculture. In keeping with this river’s deep generosity to our region, our Grande Ronde shampoo bar is made from oils that abundantly nourish and strengthen the hair. Organic, cold-pressed hibiscus seed oil is a core ingredient. The hibiscus flower has traditionally been worn by Polynesian women as a symbol of the divine feminine in all her beauty; in this shampoo bar its oil helps to repair hair strands, prevent split ends and breakages, and tame frizz and coarseness. To the hibiscus oil we add our own chamomile-infused, lavender-infused and horsetail-infused oils, all three of which strengthen and help rebuild the hair while balancing the scalp. For a smooth, free-flowing river of hair, we’ve scented this shampoo bar with a calming essential oil blend of lavender and carrot seed oil.
